This is a new edition of the Samhain Deck of the Bastard for the year 2015 - 2016. This is a LIMITED PRODUCTION DECK - it will cease in production at the end of 2016.
78 Tarot fortune telling cards, individually aged. This deck is available in either Tarot size(2.75 x 4.75) or Large size (3.75 x 5.75).
Premium 300 gsm smooth casino quality matte/eggshell finish card stock, waterproof card stock is available for an additional charge (just purchase the "waterproof card stock" listed on the shop page).
Matching pouches ARE available for both sizes.
This edition features most of the same imagery as the Deck of the Bastard with blood-red background & card back, featuring original border hand-drawn by me, and it also (subtly) has each card's zodiac/rune/hebrew correspondence and TWO keywords for both upright and reversals.
You won't want a custom cardback with this deck - the blood red backs when fanned have a great effect - this would be a good deck to stain the edges of the cards with Tim Holtz distress ink in red. You CAN get custom cardbacks for this deck by purchasing that option on the shop page, but the back that comes with it is pretty sweet.
The deck has the grundgy appearance of having been used for 100 years, but, while it looks old, it will come to you on premium cardstock, shrink-wrapped & in a white windowed tuck box & ready for reading.
